Phil Robinsson est ici leader et chanteur, lui que l’on connait au
piano et à la guitare aux côtés de William Dunker, Calvin Owens ou

fr. Depuis son arrivée en Belgique en 1974, Kevin Mulligan a usé
New CD “On The Shore of The River”, Mogno 036
sa guitare sur scène et dans les studios où il excelle aux arrangements (Philippe Lafontaine, Clouseau, K’s Choice, Maurane, Khadja
Nin,…). C’est son Kentucky natal et les berceuses de son enfance
qui lui ont inspiré les compositions qu’il jouera, imprégnées de jazz.

fr. Stéphane Salkin a exploré et joué live durant ces 25 dernières
années divers univers musicaux tels que le funk, le zouk, la musique
brésilienne, le rock, le blues, les rythmes cubains et évidemment le
jazz, musique dont il est issu. Les thèmes composés à la voix sont
l’écho de ce brassage coloré, invitant au chant...

live various musical styles including funk, zouk, Brazilian music, rock,
blues, Cuban rhythms, and of course jazz – the music that is in his
soul. The voice-composed pieces reflect this colourful and eclectic
mix, and make you want to sing.
en. Since arriving in Belgium in 1974, Kevin Mulligan has played his
guitar on stage and in the studio, where he excels at arrangements

le monde de la musique Indienne. Dans son nouvel album, le duo
a choisi d’explorer le style Hindustani avec beaucoup de libertés.
Daniel Schell a signé les compositions, certaines originales, d’autres
arrangements de thèmes classiques. Sandip Banerjee atteint les
frontières de l’art du tabla.

om de Hindoestaanse stijl te verkennen, echter met een grote mate
aan vrijheden. Gezien de instrumentatie is dit een poging van pioniers
om de tapgitaar in contact te brengen met de wereld van indiaanse
muziek, en in het bijzonder de tabla.
en. From the instrumentation point of view, this is pioneering attempt
to bring the tap-guitar in the world of Indian music and specially
the tabla. In their new album ‘Green Birth’ the duet has choosen to
explore new ways. They play in the Hindustani style, but with much
freedom. Daniel Schell has signed the compositions, some originals,
some arrangements of classical themes. Sandip Banerjee reaches
the fronteers of the tabla.

Leur son est le résultat de l’alliance d’une section rythmique

pose des textes personnels,

génération postindustrielle en

Power” revealed nine crazy musicians with jazz, rock, electro

en. These eight musicians joined forces to work on an ever shifting
project that is overflowing with the lively and subtle hip hop of
the early days, enriched with touches of jazz and hints of funk.
Their sound is the result of a mix of a sharp rhythm section, a

MTO adds personal, critical and ironic lyrics on the daily life of a
post-industrial generation in search of meaning.
