Anleitung für das Hochladen des BMW Händlerverzeichnisses auf Ihr BMW Navigationssystem
Portable Plus (nüvi 710) unter Verwendung von Microsoft Windows XP/Vista.

Verbinden Sie das GPS-Gerät über das USB-Kabel mit einem freien USB-Port Ihres Computers. Schalten
Sie die GPS-Einheit ein.

Sollte Ihr Computer Sie nach einem Treiber fragen, laden Sie bitte den USB-Treiber von der Garmin Website
www.garmin.com herunter und installieren diesen. Den Treiber finden Sie, indem Sie auf "Updates und
Downloads" im "Support" Menü gehen und dann "Zusätzliche Software" und "USB-Treiber" auswählen.

Sobald der Computer Ihr GPS-Gerät erkennt, sollte sich ein neues Fenster öffnen, welches das GPS-Gerät
als Speicherlaufwerk anzeigt. Öffnet sich kein Fenster, gehen Sie einfach mit einem Doppelklick auf das
Symbol "Mein Computer" auf Ihrem Desktop und mit einem Doppelklick auf das Laufwerk, das "Garmin nüvi"
anzeigt.

Öffnen Sie auf dem Laufwerk "Garmin nüvi" den Ordner "Garmin".
Das aktualisierte BMW Händlerverzeichniss wird an diese Stelle kopiert.

Suchen Sie das heruntergeladene BMW Händlerverzeichniss >gmapoem.img<.
Markieren Sie die Datei und gehen Sie auf Bearbeiten > Kopieren.

Gehen Sie zurück zum "Poi" Ordner auf dem Laufwerk der GPS-Einheit und fügen Sie das BMW Händlerverzeichniss über Bearbeiten > Einfügen ein.
Falls Sie gefragt werden, ob die bestehende Datei ersetzt werden soll, wählen Sie JA.
(Hinweis: Sie können Dateien auch durch Ziehen und Ablegen (Drag & Drop-Funktion) auf und von Ihren
Laufwerken kopieren.)

Entfernen Sie das GPS-Gerät sicher von Ihrem Computer.

Verbinden Sie das GPS-Gerät über das USB-Kabel mit einem freien USB-Port Ihres Computers. Schalten

Löschen Sie das alte BMW Händlerverzeichniss (entweder D1152010A.gpi, D1152010B.gpi oder
D1152010C.gpi) im "Poi" Ordner.

Entfernen Sie das GPS-Gerät sicher von Ihrem Computer.

Connect the GPS via the USB cable to an open USB port on your computer. Turn on the GPS unit.
If your computer asks for a driver, please download and install the USB driver from Garmin's website at
www.garmin.com. The driver can be found by selecting "Updates and Downloads" from the "Support" menu
and then selecting "Additional Software" and "USB Drivers".

Once the computer recognizes your GPS device, a new window should pop up showing the GPS storage
drive. If no window pops up, simply double click on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop and double click
on the drive displaying "Garmin nüvi".

Within the "Garmin nüvi" drive, open the "Garmin" folder.
This is where the updated database will be copied.

Locate the downloaded dealer database file named gmapoem.img.
Highlight the file, and select Edit > Copy.

Go back to the "POI" folder within the GPS unit's drive and paste the database file by selcting Edit > Paste.
If a message pops up that asks about replacing the existing file, select YES.
(Note: You can also drag and drop files to and from your drives.)

Safely remove the GPS device from your computer.
The BMW dealer database for the BMW Navigation Portable Plus has now been updated to version 4.00.
If you experience difficulty uploading the database to your BMW device or for any additional help with this process,
please visit the "Managing Files" and "Troubleshooting" sections in the GPS unit's owner's manual.

Ontkoppel het GPS-apparaat veilig van uw computer.
De BMW-dealerlijst voor uw BMW-navigatiesysteem Portable Pro/Plus is nu bijgewerkt naar versie 4.00. Als u
problemen ondervindt bij het downloaden van de database naar uw BMW-apparaat of extra hulp nodig hebt, zie
dan de hoofdstukken "Bestanden beheren" en "Storingen verhelpen" in de gebruikershandleiding van de GPSeenheid.
